It easily attaches to the bathtub with 2 strong, large suction cups.
You can use it in virtually any bathtub surface. Our recommendation is:
1) Make sure the bathtub surface is clean and dry
2) Attach the bath pillow to the tub, at the same time apply a good amount of pressure with your thumbs on the stitching of each suction cup.
3) If the suction cups are still not fixed solidly, please drop one or two drip onto the surface of the suction cups, to eliminate the air. (no soapy water or bath water with bubble), and then repeat the step 2.
Important Reminder:
When you remove or take the bath pillow off the bathtub, please DO NOT pull it up by brute force,
In case of damaging the suction cups---for the pillow stays firmly on the bathtub's surface.
Please pull up the suction cups on by one with your fingers. Then you could change the place and re-attach the pillow, or wash it and hang it up.

The pillow is machine washable, but we do not recommend washing the pillow on a regular basis as it is not required. You could just wash it with some gentle detergent.
